Yesterday, Year 11 Visual Design students worked on designing their own wearable items in class. This Friday they will be participating in an excursion to learn about the process of transferring initial conceptual ideas from paper, to digitalisation to printing on various fabrics!
We are very proud of their continued efforts in the course and am looking forward to tomorrow’s excursion!
To conclude the semester, Year 9 Visual Arts students continued on with their portrait investigations. Earlier this term, a snapshot of the early stages of their drawings (self portraits onto canvas) were posted. Since then, the students have finished their self portraits which represent not only themselves but their understanding of key artistic concepts such as the four frames (subjective, cultural, structural and the postmodern). Artworks will be displayed in the art block foyer for viewing.
It has been a long term indeed, but Ms Brooks is very proud of the class’s hard work and continued persistence!
