  St John Paul II Catholic College Newsletter 2019 - Term 1

Our College newsletter is a summary of all our exciting news and hard work so far this year. Read about our Youth Ministry trip to Canberra, World Youth Day trip to Mexico, updates from our busy SRC team, careers, sports and more. The 'Teaching & Learning' section gives great insight from Year 7's first term of high school to Year 12's practical experiences in their final year of study. The last newsletter for the year wraps up 2018 with messages of thanks, congratulations and 'heads up' on preparing for next year! Articles from Mr Fanning and the Assistant Principals addresses recent events, preparing for study next year, staffing changes and notices for our parents and caregivers. The latest news includes exciting updates both in and outside of the classroom, such as stories on sports and science stars, youth ministry work, excursions, charity and more. Welcome to Term 4! The latest issue of the StJPII newsletter definitely recognises the hard work and dedication of both our students and our staff as we head to the end of 2018. Our Year 11 students are reflecting on their high school journey as they now begin their final HSC year, our Year 9 students have spent some valuable time preparing to be the leaders of the Schofields campus next year and recently welcomed the new Year 7 2019 students on their Transition Day. Teachers were recognised for their hard work on World Teachers Day and our sports stars were recognised for their talents and dedication at the Sports Presentation BBQ. Term 3 has been a very busy and important time of year for many of our students, from Year 9-12 Examinations and Year 12 HSC Showcases to 2018 enrolments and all the preparation in farewelling our Year 12 students at the upcoming StJPII Terra Sancta Day and the Year 12 Graduation Ceremony.
