The College Newsletter is produced regularly and is sent via an email update once it is uploaded to the school website. It is the student’s responsibility to discuss all relevant information contained in the newsletter with their parents/caregivers. The newsletter is also archived on the College website for your convenience.
As always, the latest newsletter is full of upcoming events, notices, updates and exciting news from both in and outside of the classrooms here at StJPII. Living timelines, guest speakers, NAPLAN preparation and poetry writing are all recent teaching and learning strategies to read about in latest news. Also read about our compassionate StJPII community taking part in Vinnies Van, Harmony Day, Jersey Day fundraising, community service and the National Day for Action Against Bulling and Violence. We also congratulate many students on their sporting and public speaking achievements in the last few weeks!
Welcome to 2018 at St John Paul II Catholic College! We have had four weeks of exciting news and events including Year 11 Reflection Day, welcoming our new Year 7 students and their families, Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday celebrations and more! We also invite families to join us at our Open Evening coming up on Monday, 12 March (4pm - 8pm) at our Schofields Campus to explore our community, pathways and quality education!

Newsletter Issue 9 includes the latest news, videos from our big events, updates from the SRC, Stages 5-6 and our ICT team as well as important notices around transactions/paying fees, the College Uniform Shop trading hours for January 2018 and other upcoming events!
We have had a very exciting and eventful first 4 weeks in Term 4 at StJPII with many being recognised for their achievements, many Masses celebrated, many excelling in their learning with a range of fun learning strategies and more! Add the upcoming events to your calendars and enjoy videos from the latest ATSI Student Conference, Year 7 2018 Transition Day, Year 9 Peer Support Day and Year 10 Reflection Day.
Term 3 has been a very busy and important time of year for many of our students, from Year 9-12 Examinations and Year 12 HSC Showcases to 2018 enrolments and all the preparation in farewelling our Year 12 students at the upcoming StJPII Terra Sancta Day and the Year 12 Graduation Ceremony. Our latest newsletter includes all of this and more! The first few weeks of Term 2 have been very eventful at St John Paul II Catholic College! Our students have proudly represented the College in sports, ANZAC ceremonies, university courses and more! In this newsletter we hear about these great stories, our Assistant Principals provide some insight on parents' use of technology and ATARs and we learn about Year 7 educational "Tea Parties". Our Office Staff have also been very busy taking enrolments for Year 7 2017! Anyone who has not yet handed in their enrolments still have the opportunity to submit enrolment applications over the next few weeks.
At this time of year the College has been busy preparing enrolments for 2017 as well as enjoying the liturgies and celebrations for Easter.
