The staff Mission Day was held on Tuesday at Benedict 16 Conference Centre at Grosevale.
The theme of the day was Freedom from Oppression [Solidarity].
Session 1
The day began with staff celebrating Mass with Fr Galea which was most uplifting!
Session 2
was a presentation by Jesuit Refugee Services Australia (JRS). Two refugees shared their amazing stories showing resilience in their amazing efforts to escape their countries and on the same hand their gratitude towards the people of Australia.
Session-3
Fr Galea led staff through his music and personal testimony around how he found God in his most darkest time in his life. His message to us was that we must first find solidarity with God before we can make really meaning of our lives. He challenged staff to 'shut up' and let God love us.
