Terra Sancta Schofields Year 10 Cross Girls at Ice Skating
Year 10 Cross Girls at Ice Skating

The Year 10 girls from Cross have taken to the ice rink, inspired by the Winter Olympics in Sochi!

Integrated Sport for Year 10 provides the opportunity for our Terra Sancta students to participate in a variety of recreational and fitness activities at external venues. The Cross ladies are skating up a storm at the Norwest Ice Rink. The speed and skill is increasing each week, with most confident enough to leave the safety of the wall.

The benefits abound as students help others to master the skates, work together to produce and perform thier figure skating moves, build up their fitness and learn to laugh as they have spills, wobbles and falls.

Similarly, Locke have been challenging their fears rock climbing at The Edge. With great encouragement, the girls are climbing to the top of walls, finding their way through dark caving tunnels and taking on the swinging log climb. As safety is paramount, the gals are responsible for their partner as they climb, building trust within the group. How about a little blind-folded climbing for fun?!
