Year 7 families were greeted by the College Co-operating Principals and The College Council at the Schofields Campus.
The prayer reminded students of the role of St Mary MacKillop of the Cross hearing our intentions each day.
The families met both core teachers and were introduced to the College Pastoral Care procedures as they sat in the seats of their children; seeing the world from their children's eyes. Afterwards the families enjoyed the company of friends, old and new, at the BBQ.
A special thank you to the wonderful support staff who catered the event and made everyone feel welcome.
One parent remarked, "It's nice to meet the teachers early in the year and create a rapport."
The College is blessed to have this event supported by the Student Representative Council who helped teachers in the classroom, serving drinks and Hamilton Ayson welcomed the parents and prayed for a happy year ahead. Explore all the photographs from the Welcome BBQ in the Gallery.
