Year 7 have begun their high school journey as students of St John Paul II Catholic College.
This beginning of a new chapter for these students was successful through a meet and greet with fellow peers and teachers, as well as adapting to the environment here at the college. Students were given exciting tasks and teamwork activities to gain knowledge of the school and communicate with the other students. The students were recognised and blessed through prayer and liturgy, so that they feel welcomed into our school with open arms. Year 7 also upheld a tradition we do within the college, which is placing a starfish on our wall to symbolise that we take care of one another and everyone can make a difference.
For all Year 7 Parents/Carers, please make sure that your child’s ICT note is signed and returned to the school tomorrow, Friday 29 January 2021, so we are able to connect the students to our network which will assist in the best learning experience we can provide for them.
Congratulations to the Year 7 class of 2021, we look forward to being apart of this journey with you.
