Year 8 STEM with St Josephs
On Friday 6 July, Year 8 were joined again by St Joseph's Primary School Schofields for some STEM classes! Our students had the opportunity to teach Year 5 students how to 'code' using Ozobots. A mini project-based learning activity was designed where students had to plan a creative and fun mini lesson (25 minutes) to teach an intended audience younger than them.
Hambledon Public School Sports Donations
The St John Paul II Catholic College community was saddened to hear the news that one of our local Primary schools Hambledon Public School sports shed had caught fire late last night resulting in the loss of all the schools sporting equipment. Our Sports Coordinator Mr Horder spoke with Hambledon Public School Principal Mrs McEwen this morning to pass on any assistance we may be able to offer over the coming weeks to ensure sport continues for the Hambledon Public students and staff.
